Managing Patients with Gummy Smiles PART 2 - June 26th
1 Hour
I wanted to share all that I know about Gummy smiles and in order for it to not be too long, I have extended it into two parts. The next webinar session will be a continuation of “How to Manage Gummy Smiles” and the “Orthodontic Failures” webinar will be moved to September. Thanks!
When planning orthodontic treatment for patients with excess gingival display or “gummy smiles”, it is often necessary to also incorporate periodontal surgery and/or restorative dentistry to achieve ideal smile esthetics. This presentation will identify the threshold levels at which this esthetic discrepancy becomes noticeable as well as the various diagnoses associated with excess gingival display. Emphasis will be placed on the specific diagnostic parameters used to create age-appropriate treatment alternatives for these patients.
